World Superbike 2011 - End of season!
Carlos Checa closed the 2011 World Superbike season in style by taking his fifteenth victory of the year in Portugal and securing the Championship title with a total of 505 points. Marco Melandri became the runner-up in the final standings with a total of 395 points. He was followed by Max Biaggi (303 points) and Eugene Laverty (303 points). With 224 points, Leon Haslam completed the top five.
